Description

Hamdard, an Urdu Pregnancy Companion, is a system that provides maternity-related medical and emotional assistance. It will provide users with advice on how to look after themselves and their baby during their pregnancy. Through conversations with this maternity partner, women will be able to know what to expect during pregnancy and labor, which will help them make educated decisions about their well-being. The main features of the companion are: • Converse with the user in Urdu, answer any questions they have • Predict complications based on symptoms during pregnancy • Empathetic support and advice from experienced mothers on a variety of circumstances that can occur. E.g., how to handle pregnancy and a child while working or studying, or what to do if one needs or wants a C-section
